Woody Wood and Jim Chandler Woody Wood and Jim Chandler, better known as "Woody & Jim"
have been waking up Nashville on 107-5 The River for 10 years. They're unique take on current
events, prank phone calls, daily games like Gender Wars, and community service have made them
fixtures in Nashville radio.
Among their honors are being named Best Local Morning Show in America by trade magazine "Friday
Morning Quarterback, and 3 times being named best morning show at the Nashville Air Awards. Besides local television appearances, Woody & Jim have been featured on American Idol, Fox News
Channel's "Fox and Friends", Inside Edition, ESPN's Sportscenter, and many more.
Woody & Jim are both married (although not to each other) and raise kids here in Nashville.
Their commitment to serving our area includes visits to over a hundred area schools and
libraries with their Reading Railroad program that encourages children to learn the joy of
reading. They also read every month to the patients of the Monroe Carrol Jr. Children's
Hospital at Vanderbilt. Speaking of the hospital, their work on the River of Hope Radiothon
raises hundreds of thousands of dollars each year for VCH. |
