April 2021 Proposed System Changes
When we enacted our Modified Service Plan in March 2020 to respond to the impact of COVID-19, it was hardly our plan to use it for a full year. With each service change we’ve put into place over the past year, we’ve tried to balance need to conserve our resources during a time of low ridership while minimizing the hardships reduced service can have on our communities. We are proposing several more service changes to continue adapting to our changing ridership demands.
To ensure the proposed changes will meet the needs of our communities, we will open a public comment period from Monday, January 25 through Thursday, February 15, 2021 so we can hear about the potential impact of these changes from our riders. During this time, customers will be able to view proposed service changes, participate in virtual meetings to provide comment directly to WeGo staff members, and submit feedback via mail, phone, and email.
